Slippery Seal ("the app") is developed by ASHISH KUMAR
("we", "us"). Its Android package and iOS bundle identifier are
com.slipperysealgame.slipperyseal.
This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app
or contact us.
Slippery Seal does not require a developer-created account. Your game progress is saved on your device. Depending on your app version, platform, settings and feature availability, the app also uses services for advertising and privacy choices, purchases, friend races, and Android leaderboards.
These services can process information about your device and your use of their features. We do not operate a persistent database of player accounts or cloud game saves. Older versions may not include advertising or purchases.
The app saves progress, scores, golden fish, owned and equipped cosmetics, missions, settings, your locally entered seal name, and your device's best-run list in the app's private storage.
It also saves information needed to manage ad frequency, reward claims, temporary skin trials and the automatic-ad removal entitlement. Advertising and consent SDKs may store their own settings and identifiers.
We do not upload your save file or locally entered seal name to a developer-operated cloud-save service. Scores and race information are processed separately as explained below. Device backup and restore services, where applicable, are controlled by your platform and device settings.
Versions with advertising use Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The game may show occasional automatic ads at solo-game results and optional rewarded ads for extra cosmetic currency or temporary cosmetic skin trials.
We configure ad requests as non-personalized and disable Google's publisher first-party ID feature. Non-personalized does not mean that no information is collected. Other identifiers and technical data may still be processed.
Google's advertising services may collect and share:
This information is used to deliver and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, diagnose problems, and prevent fraud and abuse. Google may share information with advertising partners as described in its policies and applicable consent information.
Ads may be requested or loaded before an ad is displayed. Buying removal of automatic ads does not disable the advertising SDK or all ad-related processing; optional rewarded ads remain available.
For Google's practices, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. An advertiser's website or app is governed by its own privacy policy when you choose to visit it.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain and manage advertising privacy choices where required. The choices shown depend on your region and applicable requirements. Depending on those choices, ads may be limited or unavailable.
Where available, open the game's Settings, then Ads & purchases → Ad privacy choices to review or change your choices. You can also manage advertising identifiers and privacy permissions through your device settings.
Changing consent or resetting an advertising identifier does not automatically erase information previously processed by a provider. See Delete your data for further options.
Where offered, a one-time purchase removes automatic ads. Optional rewarded ads remain available. Purchases do not provide gameplay advantages.
Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment. The app uses product information, purchase status and transaction information provided by the store to grant, verify and restore the entitlement. We do not receive your payment card number.
We do not operate a separate purchase-verification server. The store maintains its own transaction records under its policies, including records needed for purchase restoration, refunds, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
Friend races use invite-code rooms for up to four players. There are no public lobbies, public matchmaking or free-form chat.
When you use this feature, our relay server receives and passes race information to other players in the same room. This includes:
Your locally typed seal name is not sent by current versions. Some earlier test versions shared that name with players in the room instead of a generated name.
The relay uses temporary in-memory state rather than a persistent player or race database. Rooms close when the host leaves or all players leave, and inactive rooms are set to expire after ten minutes. Our relay does not write race payloads or player IP addresses to a database or application log.
Connections to the production relay are encrypted in transit. The relay is hosted by Fly.io, currently in Singapore. The server and hosting infrastructure necessarily process connection information, including IP addresses. Infrastructure handling is covered by the Fly.io Privacy Statement.
Android versions integrate Google Play Games Services. The app may initiate Play Games sign-in. When signed in, it can submit scores and retrieve leaderboard information using your Play Games profile. Your player ID, gamer display name and scores are processed by Google, and your display name and score may be visible to other players on the leaderboard.
The leaderboard does not use your locally entered seal name. You can manage sign-in and Play Games data through Google's settings. Local scores remain available when the online service is unavailable or you are not signed in.
Current iPhone versions use local scores and do not integrate Apple Game Center. Friend races are available independently of leaderboards.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate reported problems and handle privacy or purchase-support requests. Please avoid sending passwords, full payment details or unnecessary personal information.
These privacy and support pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. Visiting them involves processing by GitHub as described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Information is processed to provide features you request, manage purchases and rewards, deliver and measure ads, maintain reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, the applicable basis depends on the processing: consent where required for advertising technologies; providing the features or transactions you request; legitimate interests in security, reliability and support where permitted; and compliance with legal obligations.
Local app data remains until it is cleared or the app is deleted, subject to any separate device backups. The relay does not maintain a persistent race history.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to address the request and related issues, and where required for legal obligations. You can contact us to request its deletion.
Google, Apple, Fly.io and GitHub apply their own retention practices to information they process. Uninstalling the game does not automatically delete advertising records, store transactions, Play Games data, support emails or backups.
See Delete your data for instructions and the limits of each deletion method.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority.
Contact us using the address below for requests about information we handle. For provider-controlled information, use the provider's privacy tools or contact process. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Services used by the app may process information outside your country. The race relay is currently hosted in Singapore. The providers' policies describe their processing locations and applicable international-transfer safeguards.
Slippery Seal is intended for an audience aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. Ad content restrictions do not change that intended audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the request.
This policy also applies to Google Play testing and Apple TestFlight versions. Features can differ between builds. Sample ads use Google's SDK and can still involve network processing. Apple and Google may separately process installation, testing, diagnostic and feedback information under their own policies.
Updates to this policy will be published at this address with a revised date. Additional notices or choices will be provided where required.
